A handwriting competition had been out for students of 3rd and 4th class, with the aim to create an awareness among students towards the importance of handwriting. This activity was held online in the third week of second term of year 2021.
Interested students applied to this competition by writing a short poem selected by the teacher and uploading their works on the assigned Padlet for evaluation. Criteria for judging the participants’ handwriting were set out clearly before the beginning of the competition. Students also had the opportunity to come back to the teacher to have suggestions on ways to improve their handwriting if they needed.
The names of the handwriting champs were announced the week after and were awarded certificates and prizes.
