Al-Andalus Private Schools, Jeddah, are licensed by the Saudi Ministry of Education to provide school education, separate for boys and girls, from K.G. to Grade 12, and function under the Ministry’s supervision.
Al-Andalus started its American Diploma Program in 2007, duly recognized by the Saudi Ministry of Education, to meet the growing demand for a credible English curriculum. Our program is based on the California Standards of Education, U.S.A.
We have a maximum of 20 students per class, and highly qualified and dedicated teachers.
The Schools offer e-teaching and e-learning systems. The Schools feature modern computer and science labs that are equipped with the latest technologies; wireless internet, internal connections, data shows, all as part of the electronic system adopted by the Schools.
At all levels, we measure student achievement through standardized tests. These tests do not affect student grades. They are designed to help us better understand and measure student achievement. In addition, we can determine if our students are above, at, or below grade level. This information enables us to honestly report
student progress to parents. Students below grade level are supported with enrichment programs.
The AHSDP is an educational system that uses English as the learning
language, which is the most important and wide-spread language of international communication, and also the most widely used language of higher learning, science, medicine, engineering, high technology, research and arts and literature.
